If you have a Home Theater and two or more HDTV sources,  a Projector and a Preview Monitor, along with a everyday TV, you need this switcher!  Perhaps you would like to add a preview (or cue) monitor.  As your system grows all you have to do is plug in new components, no crazy wiring schemes to get you by each time you add something (let alone explaining to your other half how to operate things!).  Only a matrix switcher can allow you easy connections of all your equipment without special patching.  This unit also features Digital AND Analog Audio, why do you need both?  Many older (and some newer) HDTV’s do not have Digital Audio inputs, unless you set up a separate Digital ready receiver (sound around) in each zone most likely you will need analog audio to make your installation seamless.  Digital to analog adapters DO NOT WORK WELL and many do not decode Dolby so running the actual analog audio is still the most reliable method.  This is a professional unit that uses BNC Video jacks and Phoenix Audio Connectors we do offer BNC to RCA adapters which you can read more about below. Why do you need this? (Computer Rack)

This matrix will allow you to connect up to 12 computers and up to 8 monitors, then you can switch ANY computer to ANY monitor, this includes any number of the 8 monitors to 1 computer.  Examples would be 1 computer to all 8 monitors, 2 computers to 4 monitors each, 1 computer to 1 monitor + 2nd computer to 7 monitors.  ANY COMBINATION is allowable, get the idea?  Great for entertainment displays, stock ticker boards, gaming systems, or just redundancy.   This is much better then a standard KVM which only switches one monitor.  Use this in conjunction of a KVM for keyboard/mouse switching and even further extend your system.  This is a 300mhz system which will allow you to use 1200×1600 or even higher res.  I can also help on the specialized wiring needing for Computer and other specialty use.

Use with  Computers and HDTV at the same time!  
  While this Switcher will NOT convert signals you can dedicate  some of the channels for Computer (VGA) monitors and some of the  channels for HDTV (Component Video).  Basically you will be using  it as two smaller switchers for example use 4 inputs and 2 outputs for  Computers and Computer Monitors and the remaining 8 inputs and 6 outputs  for HDTV.  You CANNOT Switch HDTV Sources to Computer Monitors and  visa-versa however you CAN add a converter to allow this if  needed, contact me for more info on this.

What Exactly  is it?
