Manufacturer description:
The Toshiba IK-WB21A IP Network PTZ Camera enables you to view live videos from any internet-enabled PC from anywhere. With a 1/4” SuperCCD image sensor and 22x optical zoom lens, the network camera allows you to capture high-quality clear images in MJPEG and JPEG formats at a resolution of 1280 x 960 (SXVGA). Offering high speed PTZ functionality, the IP camera supports 300°/sec pan speed and 200°/sec tilt speed.
With a minimum illumination of 0.13 lux at f/1.6, the network camera delivers clear images even in low light conditions. The IK-WB21A camera uses a removable IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting. Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. Automatic gain control allows you to adjust the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level, and backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
On-board slot is provided for SD card; apart from being convenient for short-term/temporary storage, recording onto SD card also rules out data loss due to network disconnection. The IK-WB21A IP Network PTZ Camera can be easily mounted on a desktop or ceiling, and is ideal for remote monitoring, 24/7 perimeter surveillance, employee security, weather documentation, web broadcasting, etc.
